Different, Because

We are different because ———————.
We are the only one that does ———————.

How are you different and why does that matter to your customers?

The truth is that in every market there is the leader and the rest. And when one from ‘the rest’ steps up and do something different, customers notice. But it isn’t enough to do something different or be different. What differentiates you from the rest should be meaningful, otherwise people won’t pay you too much attention.
It is a big challenge for a business to find this unique ingredient or combination of ingredients to make it stand up from the crowd.
To be unique, noticeable and meaningful requires talent. As you said in another post, it is art.
    The rest is science.

We are different because in everything we do, we’re taking a small step toward changing how people acquire the family pet, and emptying out America’s animal shelters. We are the only toy company working toward this goal, raising awareness and money for America’s homeless pets and the tireless work of rescues. And if you find another line of adorable plush pit bulls out there, we’d like to hear about it!

Our customers come to us like old friends, and if we feel like we’ve known them all along, it’s because rescue people — shelter volunteers, people who show compassion for homeless pets and throw-away strays, transporters and dog walkers and cat lovers — all share a similar outsized empathy (the “big heart”), and we love them all.
